    L.L.Bean is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our growing Customer Insights and Planning Department in Freeport, Maine.

    This position will work on the Centralized Analytics team, reporting to the Manager of Marketing Analytics. The primary responsibility will be to own and support the analytics of marketing and promotion selling investments. This is a critical role in driving effective selling strategies across the entire enterprise by measuring and recommending optimized marketing selling and promotion investments across programs and channels.

    Responsibilities

    • Build marketing mix models to optimize marketing and promotion strategy and recommend allocation of budgets under various scenarios
    • Evaluate attribution modeling approaches and paths to conversion to better understand in-season dynamics of channels and changing marketing and promotion tactics
    • Collaborate with data scientists to build promotion models to measure and predict effectiveness by tactic relative to strategic goals and other investment opportunities
    • Model customer life-time and subsequent value by marketing program, promotion and purchased product for insights, input to marketing models, and audience creation
    • Work collaboratively with Customer Insights, Brand and Performance Marketing, Customer Analytics, and Planning teams
    • Create a process for executing and delivery of standardized post-mortems of program tactics and tests to determine successes and challenges
    • Communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders
    • Develop, validate and maintain data sets pulling from internal sources, Google analytics, cross-channel buying platforms and third-party sources and tools
    • Deliver ad hoc analytics requests
    • Build visual analytics tools in Tableau

    Qualifications

    • Thorough knowledge of marketing
    • Able to draw on marketing concepts and data analysis to determine recommendations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent computer skills with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Google Analytics IQ certification desired
    • Effectively communicates (written and oral) to various organizational levels
    • Experience analyzing data and presenting findings
    • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
    • Driven to produce results
    • Ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team

    Required:

    • 4-6 years of relevant experience
    • B.A/B.S degree required, MBA a plus
    • Experience analyzing data and presenting findings
    • Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects
    • Ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences
    • Ability to gain GA IQ certification

    Preferred:

    • Undergraduate/graduate coursework in mathematics, statistics, or economics
    • Experience with:
      • Tableau
      • Statistical computing and graphics software
      • Google Analytics or Web Site Analytics
      • SQL, Python
      • Predictive modeling
      • Statistical modeling
