    We are currently searching for an Associate Marketing Analyst to work in our Customer Insights and Planning area of Marketing. This is a critical, highly visible role providing research and data analysis that supports brand and customer loyalty and growth initiatives, as well as voice of the customer programs within the Consumer Insights department. The position will provide analytical support by leveraging and structuring disparate data sources and developing recommendations and insights that enable and inform decision making.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting and analysis

    • Support Consumer Insights team in the process of planning and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies (i.e. survey development, analyzing results, and producing reports). 
    • Creates comprehensive reports by synthesizing insights from multiple primary and secondary data sources, analyzing and highlighting core insights
    • Mines Voice of the Customer (VoC) data from key customer listening sources across the enterprise: solicited (surveys) and unsolicited (e.g. social media); structured (multiple choice) and unstructured (text)
    • Provides analytical support for test design and experimentation
    • Communicates findings using visually compelling graphics and clear explanations
    • Supports qualitative and quantitative customer studies 

    Data quality and integrity

    • Monitor program infrastructure in partnership with IT colleagues and vendor partners to ensure successful VoC data flows, application management and project execution
    • Manages various consumer insights tools to collect relevant data and information
    • Ensures data health by conducting research as needed to ensure data integrity in the reporting provided to business users; proactively resolves data health inconsistencies and issues

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate coursework in mathematics, economics, computer science or a related field
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the following: Mining and analyzing large data sets, Microsoft Office Suite
    • Analytically minded and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
    • Team player mentality and experience in collaborative environments
    • Curiosity, grit, and a growth mindset

    Preferred skills 

    • 1-2 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research
    • Demonstrated proficiency in SPSS, SQL and DB2, or other relational database languages
    • Experience with basic customer feedback mechanisms
    • Passionate about data quality and reporting excellence
    • Experience with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including but not limited to CSAT/NPS, social sentiment monitoring, focus groups
